Appel the best choice

Editor,

After meeting and talking with George Appel, I am impressed by his straightforward style and no-nonsense answers. A long-time prosecutor, currently with the Snohomish County Prosecutor's Office, Appel understands that victims deserve as much consideration as those accused of crimes.

He has spent most of his professional career right here in the county, prosecuting drug dealers, sexual predators, abusive domestic partners and murderers.

You might think all this experience would produce a hardened, cynical man. Instead, George Appel is kind, empathetic and a sincere listener. Good qualities in a Superior Court judge.
