First Heritage Bank hits the mark for Camp Fire
Camp Fire of Snohomish County leaders recently announced a $10,000 pledge by First Heritage Bank. The contribution tops off more than $2 million in community support from the “Camp Fire Delivers” capital campaign toward the organization’s $2.7 million goal.
Cathy Reines, president and CEO of First Heritage Bank said, “We take great pride in being able to make a difference in our communities, and Camp Fire has a long-standing record of helping kids to become great leaders and caring community members.”
The contribution brings Camp Fire’s total pledges to $2,004,860 as the organization moves into the community phase of the fundraising efforts, focusing on “Legacy Square” at the new Welcome Center in the main parking area at Camp Killoqua.
The Welcome Center is the third of five new structures to be built at the camp. Granite pavers will be displayed along with the Donor Wall at Legacy Square. Pavers come in six sizes for gifts in the $5,000 to $100 range. This hub of activity is where all campers are dropped off and picked up, so everyone arriving at Camp Killoqua will have an opportunity to see the pavers.
