Kathy McCone, CPA, a 10-year employee with Langabeer McKernan Burnett & Co. PS CPA, became a shareholder/principal with the firm on January 1, 2008. The accounting office is located at 4027-80th Street NE in Marysville. McCone is a welcome addition to the firm’s energetic management team.

Julie Brandt has accepted a partnership offer at North County Outlook, effective January 1. Brandt is a valuable member of the publication’s sales department and brings solid experience in sales and business management to the growing company. The ownership team of North County Outlook now consists of five local women with deep ties to the community.

Dano Jukanovich was recently named president and chief executive of LIFEstyle Homes & Construction Inc., a family-owned Marysville-based property development and construction company. In addition to serving as the chief operating officer for the past three years for LIFEstyle Homes & Construction, Jukanovich’s business experience includes working as a strategic business adviser to chief executives of technology and manufacturing companies throughout the United States. He also has real estate experience, with 10 years of professional real estate investing in Washington.

Terri Stefnik has been promoted to Vice President and Marketing Manager at Frontier Bank. She replaces Barbara McCarthy, Executive Vice President, as department manager. McCarthy will continue serving as EVP and Advertising Director, on a part-time basis, as she focuses on designing and coordinating all advertising for Frontier Bank, including newspaper, magazine, radio, and television. Her responsibilities will continue until her formal retirement sometime in 2008. Stefnik will now coordinate all public relations, branch relations, corporate donations and sponsorships, and numerous other marketing responsibilities formerly handled by McCarthy.

Lois Ruskell, information and education coordinator with the Snohomish Conservation District, has been selected to participate in an 18-month agriculture and forestry leadership development program. Ruskell will attend 14 seminars with the Washington Agriculture and Forestry Leadership Program.

David Brooks has been named Chief Executive Officer for the Northwest Washington service area of Providence Health and Services. Brooks will provide oversight of Providence Everett Medical Center, Providence Physician Group, Providence Hospice and Homecare of Snohomish County and Providence General Foundation. Former Providence CEO Gail Larson retired on December 31, 2007.
