Bob's Big Screen
Personal choices for film awards
by Bob Connally
It’s that time of year again: Hollywood awards season. And since I’m never quite happy with the Golden Globes, Oscars, BAFTAs (British Oscars), and other ceremonies, I offer the Bob Awards.
There are no trophies and they have absolutely no bearing whatsoever on the industry, but they make me feel better and isn’t that what it’s all about? Winners will be announced in the next issue.
(Ed. Note: Readers are invited to select their own favorites in the major categories: best actor and actress, supporting actor and actress, best film and director. Send your choices to [email protected] by Friday, Feb. 22.)
