Trent TomlinsonCountry singer and songwriter Trent Tomlinson's high energy performance will rock the 680-seat Byrnes Performing Arts Center in Arlington on Friday, September 18 at 7:30 p.m. The show is presented by the Arlington Arts Council.

Tomlinson's music is straightforward, detailing both the good and bad of life and love. The singer's recent hit "Drunker Than Me" has scored in the Top 20 country hit list. Other hits include "She Might Just Have Her Radio On," "I was Gonna Leave Tomorrow Anyway" and "One Wing in the Fire."

Many of his songs have been performed by artists such as Emerson Drive, George Strait and Sara Evans. Tomlinson's newest album, "A Guy Like Me," will be released October 20.

"I got the pleasure of seeing Trent in concert at a local Snohomish County venue and was blown away by his performance," said concertgoer Anna Arnold. "He was electric on stage, his vocals are strong, he is very captivating and thoroughly entertaining."

Randy Scott of KMPS Country Radio's morning show will be the evening's emcee.

Tickets, priced at $20 for lower level and $25 for upper level seating, are available online at www.byrnesperformingarts.org, or at Flowers by George, 335 N. Olympic Avenue in downtown Arlington.

The Byrnes Performing Arts Center is located at Arlington High School, 18821 Crown Ridge Blvd.
