Country artist Trent Tomlinson and his band, fresh from an appearance at the Grand Ole Opry, will be in Arlington Friday, September 18, at 7:30 p.m. at the Brynes Performing Arts Center.

"We are going to see a big name artist on the brink of his new album climbing the charts, right here in Arlington," said Arlington Arts Council vice president and concert chairman Laura Kuhl. "Trent wanted to have a quality venue that was intimate to debut his new album. He and his band are flying in especially for this event, that will raise money for public art in Arlington."

"Proceeds from the concert will also allow the Arts Council to bring other performing arts to our beautiful town," Kuhl added. "Our previous concerts have attracted music lovers from Bellingham to Tacoma, who brought their dollars and discovered what the Arlington area has to offer."

Trent Tomlinson will be performing brand new music plus his previous chart hits. Many songs written by Tomlinson have been performed by other artists. KMPS radio host Randy Scott will be the emcee for the concert.

To make the show accessible to more music-lovers, the Arts Council decided to keep ticket prices affordable. Tickets are $20 for lower level and $25 for upper level seating.
