Popular local country musicians Gerry Andal and the Roughriders will perform a concert benefiting the Everett Symphony on December 19 at 5 p.m. at the recently opened Community Performing Arts Theater (C-PaTH) at the Everett Mall.

Gerry Andal The Symphony was forced to cancel its season in January 2010. Several local musicians from various music genres have helped to keep the Symphony in business, and Gerry Andal is the latest to join the effort.

"The reason I'm doing this is because I like the new community-building direction the Symphony is taking," said Andal.

The country-western musician and restaurateur is well known to the community from his many performances in regional venues like the Evergreen State Fair, and at his restaurant in Stanwood. The group will perform country western standards and Christmas favorites. The program will also include young musicians as part of the Symphony's commitment to increasing performance opportunities for emerging artists.

Tickets are $12 for general admission, $8 for seniors and students, and $2 for youth 18 years and under. Purchase tickets online at mycpath.org, over the phone at 800.595.4849 or in person at Gerry Andals's restaurant in Stanwood. Tickets are also available at the door beginning one hour prior to show at the Community Performing Arts Theater (C-PaTh) in the Everett Mall. For more information, call (425) 258-1605 ext. 801.
