The Hometown Band has put together an evening of warm summertime music, sure to chase away the winter chills, for the Hometown Hootenanny's "Beach Blanket Rodeo" show on Friday, Jan. 21, at 7:30 p.m. at the Historic Everett Theatre.

Featuring songs that include "No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problems," "Groovy Little Summer Song" and "Margaritaville," the show will remind listeners of toes in the sand, sun on their face, and little umbrellas in pretty pastel drinks.

Guest artists include Brooke Pennock in a return appearance to the Hootenanny, along with sultry Stanwood singer Marcia Kester.

Showcase artist Johnny Gray of Marysville will join the band for two songs as well. Gray was selected as a finalist in KING TV's "You've Got Talent" competition, and enjoyed a recent televised appearance on channel 5's "New Day Northwest" and "Evening Magazine." In September, he won the Colgate Country Showdown statewide competition, sponsored by 94.1 KMPS.

Advance tickets for the Hometown Hootenanny are priced at $15 for adults, $12 for seniors and students, and $5 for kids 12 and under. A special family package of two adult and two child/student tickets (up to age 18) is available online only at the reduced price of $37.50.

Purchase tickets 24 hours a day online at www.brownpapertickets.com or by calling 1-800-838-3006. Tickets are available at the theatre box office at 2911 Colby Avenue in downtown Everett during regular hours or by calling (425) 258-6766. Admission to the show can also be purchased at the door, beginning one hour prior to showtime.
