Village Theatre Pied Piper will present the new musical, "Giggle, Giggle, Quack" at the Everett Civic Auditorium, 2415 Colby Ave. in Everett, on Saturday, February 12, at 2 p.m.

Bestselling author Doreen Cronin brings back Farmer Brown's wacky animal gang in this brand new musical, based on her book "Giggle, Giggle, Quack," the sequel to Cronin's Caldecott Award-winning book, "Click, Clack, Moo: Cows that Type."

When a very weary Farmer Brown takes a much-needed vacation, he leaves his city-slicker brother, Bob, in charge. The mischievous farm animals are quick to exploit the situation. Duck, being the manipulative mallard that he is, takes it upon himself to revise the list of instructions Farmer Brown left for Bob and give it a slight upgrade. The barnyard howls with laughter as Duck's ploy is accomplished and Bob bewilderedly complies with the unusual instructions.

Pied Piper manager Erica Weir raves about the show. "Kids just go crazy watching as chaos ensues hysterically on stage."

The exuberant musical comes to Village Theatre from Dallas Children's Theater, which was rated by TIME Magazine as "one of the top five theaters in the nation performing for youth."

One hour prior to the Feb. 12 performance of "Giggle, Giggle, Quack," young people are invited to participate in pre-show arts, crafts and fun in partnership with Imagine Children's Museum at the Civic Auditorium.

Tickets, available at (425) 257-8600 or online at www.villagetheatre.org, are $15 for adults and $13 for youth and seniors.
