From fun and funky to sweetly romantic, the May 20 Hometown Hootenanny features the music of duos and trios "In Perfect Harmony," beginning at 7:30 p.m. at the Historic Everett Theatre, 2911 Colby Ave. in downtown Everett.

The Hometown Band will perform vocal-rich songs that include classic duets by Waylon and Willie, modern country numbers by Rascal Flatts and Brooks & Dunn, even a couple of tunes by the Eagles and the Beatles. The band's lead singer, Jeremy Randall, will be joined by showcase artist Kenny Randall for Big & Rich's "Holy Water" and Uncle Kracker's "Good to Be Me." Jeremy and guest vocalist Britta Grass will knock out the classic duet "Islands in the Stream" and a rollicking version of Lady Antebellum's "Lookin' for a Good Time."

Making a rare appearance as a duo, Nick Dumas and Chris Luquette of the hot bluegrass band Northern Departure will perform as Washington: The Duo. The young men's incredible musicianship is always a treat, and their individual musical style combines bluegrass with elements of folk and country--and maybe just a touch of rock 'n roll.

Also taking the stage at the May 20 show are Tree Nine, a folksy duo from Seattle, and local favorites the Barela Brothers with their trademark harmonies and high energy performance.

Advance tickets for the Hometown Hootenanny are priced at $15 for adults, $12 for seniors and students, and $5 for kids 12 and under. A special family package of two adult and two child/student tickets (up to age 18) is available online only at the reduced price of $37.50.
