Fogdog Gallery presents its first trunk show on Friday, August 26, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., featuring the unique and elegant handmade jewelry of Sam Kaffine.

Kaffine's creations feature sterling silver, copper, and 12K goldfill chain, as well as freshwater pearl jewelry, all handmade in the mountains of Colorado by the artist. Real semi-precious stones and freshwater pearls, handblown glass (artist's name noted where possible) and Swarovski crystals are used exclusively.

" I believe in classics," said Kaffine. "I believe in natural gems, real pearls, metals that are rash-free, and in business ethics. I believe in jewelry that makes you feel like a goddess, like a superhero; a little more like the essential you."

Fogdog Gallery is located at 318 North Olympic Avenue in downtown Arlington. The gallery is open Tuesday through Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., with after hours available by appointment. For information, visit www.fogdoggallery.com.
