The Hometown Hootenanny, a monthly live music show focusing on country, folk and bluegrass musical styles, has become a favorite of Snohomish County audiences over the past several years at the Historic Everett Theatre. This holiday season, "The Ho-Ho-Hometown Hootenanny," produced in partnership with the Arlington Arts Council, moves north to the Byrnes Performing Arts Center in Arlington for a show Saturday, December 10, at 7:30 p.m.

BPAC is located at 18821 Crown Ridge Blvd. in Arlington, adjacent to Arlington High School.

The holiday show features the Hometown Band performing contemporary and traditional Christmas songs with a country twist. Featured local vocalists Dan Leal and Britta Grass join the band to perform favorites that include "Christmas Cookies," "Jingle Bell Rock" and "The Christmas Song."

Guest artists include Pickled Okra, a unique old-timey acoustic trio who breathe life into a classic genre with fresh ideas and pure vintage charm, and local bluegrass favorites Mission Mountain Trio. Katie Hoag, an Arlington local, also performs two songs with the band-the lovely "O Holy Night" and Dolly Parton's "I'll Be Home for Christmas."

Advance tickets for the Hometown Hootenanny are priced at $15 for adults, $12 for seniors and students, and $5 for kids 12 and under. A special family package of two adult and two child/student tickets (up to age 18) is available online only at the reduced price of $37.50.
