Locals don't have to travel to Las Vegas or even Seattle to enjoy world-class magic. Master magician Joey Pipia will thrill audiences with a show called "Magic Chamber: 30 seats, 60 minutes" at Fogdog Gallery downtown Arlington on Saturday, April 7, at 7 p.m. The gallery is located at 233 North Olympic Avenue.

The Magic Chamber is the ultimate magic show experience: no fancy boxes, no smoke or mirrors. Instead, it's just the magic--straight up, fast paced, funny, and amazing. Fogdog Gallery will be transformed into a unique theater reminiscent of the close up room in the Hollywood's legendary Magic Castle.

Pipia is a central performer, writer and producer of the legendary Stage Left Vaudeville Show at the Oregon Country Fair. His escape from a straightjacket while hanging 80 feet above Water Street in downtown Port Townsend was featured on Seattle NPR's KUOW Presents. He performs at the international Moisture Festival and tours regularly with The New Old Time Chautauqua and The Flying Karamazov Brothers.

"See this show, live happily ever after," recommends Jake Seniuk, director of The Port Angeles Fine Arts Center, who brought in Pipia's original magic as the final event of the museum's series, The Art of Healing, adding, "He's an imp, a wizard with a sixth sense."

Pipia has appeared in film, on TV, and on stages across the country.

As for living happily ever after? "You'll just have to see the show," he says.

Tickets are priced at $20, and may be purchased at Fogdog Gallery in Arlington, online at www.brownpapertickets.com, or by calling 800-838-3006.
