The Arlington Arts Council has collected more than 30 works of art over the past 10 years, all of which have been installed in public places throughout the city.

AAC president Sarah Arney and other AAC members host a guided tour of the outdoor art collection starting at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 5. The tour will include stories about the 17 murals and sculptures and the artists who created them.

The art is all within walking distance of Arlington City Hall, along the Centennial Trail. The walk lasts approximately one hour, beginning and ending at the Fogdog Gallery, 334 N. Olympic Ave. in downtown Arlington.

All ages are welcome; kids under 12 should be accompanied by an adult.

For information, or to schedule a private tour, call (360) 403-3448. Self-guided walking tour maps are available on the city's website at arlingtonwa.gov.
