Dalmatians and fire trucks just seem to go together, and even though the Marysville Fire Department doesn't carry live Dalmatians, firefighters keep a stock of the spotted stuffed dogs to help comfort children in crisis situations.

Stuffed DalmatianFor the entire month of April, Marysville Chiropractic will be collecting donations for the 10th Annual Dalmatian Drive, a partnership between Marysville Chiropractic and the Marysville Fire Foundation. The monies raised will be used to purchase stuffed Dalmatian puppies.

Firefighters and department staff will be in the parking lot at Marysville Chiropractic, 1617 Grove Street, to collect stuffed animal donations on Saturday, April 25, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Residents are invited to stop by for a blood pressure check, have your picture taken with Sparky, get a chair massage and enjoy a hot dog. As a bonus, enter to win lunch with a crew of Marysville Fire District's firefighters.
