Instead of just listening to Handel's "Messiah" this season, enjoy the power and beauty of the classic music by being part of the choir at the Sing-Along Messiah, December 20 at 3 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 2936 Rockefeller Ave. in Everett.

Join the Everett Symphony and director Dr. Paul-Elliott Cobbs for an afternoon of inspirational music for the season. Bring your own score, share with a friend, or borrow one from the symphony's library.

Admission to the event is $15 ($10 for seniors) and includes a reception following the sing-along. Tickets are available at the door beginning at 2:30 p.m., or online anytime at www.everettsymphony.org. Donations for the food bank will also be collected at the door.
