On Jan. 4, 2021, at approximately 11:33 a.m., Marysville Police responded to the 5000 block of 88th St. NE for a suspicious circumstance.
A co-worker of the resident had responded to check on a 65-year-old male who had missed work. Upon arriving at the residence the co-worker spoke with an acquaintance, Anthony Boggess, of the 65-year-old male.
Boggess said something about an altercation and then fled. The co-worker later discovered a male was deceased in the garage.
Detectives from the Marysville Investigations Unit have been called out and are beginning their investigation. The location has been secured pending a search warrant for the premises.
Detectives believe Boggess has important information that would assist in the investigation
Investigators believe this is an isolated incident and there is no threat to the public.
