‘Help to bridge the gap for those hit hardest,’ says Mayor Nehring

Effective today, March 18, the City of Marysville will not shut off utility service to customers for failure to pay. The action, in compliance with the Mayor’s emergency proclamation, is in effect through April 30. No late fees or penalties will apply during this time.

“We know that many residents are out of work or otherwise financially impacted by the COVID-19 virus response, and that our local business community and non-profits are also under great strain at this time,” Mayor Jon Nehring said. “It’s the right thing for the city to help bridge the gap through this crisis for those hit the hardest.”

We encourage customers to continue to make their payments or to call Utility Billing to make payment arrangements if they are unable to pay at this time.
